Wo didn't think you sared. For it has been two years (April, 1958) since we published our "Opon Lotter to Ann Aldrich" in THE LADDER.
It is indeed flattering to note that you felt us important onough in the field of Lesbianism to devote so much time in writing your reply, to say nothing of the space allotted us în CAROL IN A THOUSAND CITIES. We are always pleased to learn that our magazine is so thoroughly read. For you have certainly wrung out THE LADDER "Rung by Rung."
But as we pointed out in our "open Letter", you have a tendency to center your attention on the "bizarre." And we must admit that it does make good copy! Wo further admit that THE LADDER is not professional we're sure that there were many more blunders in the 1958 issues which you graciously overlooked.
